Moravský Peněžní Ústav - spořitelní družstvo (hereinafter “MPU”) is a cooperative savings institution founded on 15 August 1996 in Zlín. MPU’s long-term success is based on a personal approach, quality services and products with interesting conditions. Evidence of MPU's properly chosen strategy lies not only in its history of over 20 years on the market, but also mainly in its more than 11,500 satisfied clients. MPU's strategic aim is to transform into a bank.

Products and Services

Moravský Peněžní Ústav offers a wide range of financial services, including current and deposit accounts, loan products, payment transaction services and internet banking. It provides its products and services both to private individuals and to entrepreneurs and companies. As far as private individuals are concerned, it focuses mainly on deposit products, which ensures a significant appreciation of savings. For entrepreneurs, the financial institution specialises in loan products and it places particular emphasis on processing speed, as well as on a friendly and individual approach.

MPU's deposit account product Bonus+ has already been ranked four times among the top 20 best products in the Zlatá Koruna Public Award Competition.


Moravský Peněžní Ústav also provides products and services for public administration organisations (villages, cities and towns, associations of municipalities and regional authorities including managed organisations).

The Czech National Bank supervises MPU's activities. Council of Clients: an independent advisory body

The Council of Clients is an independent advisory body of the management of Moravský Peněžní Ústav and consists of the financial institution's clients. The aim is systematic improvement of communication between members and bodies of the cooperative as well as the improvement of the quality of services.

The Council of Clients regularly meets with the management of Moravský Peněžní Ústav and through its activities, it helps get members involved in the management of the cooperative. It addresses recommendations and suggestions from members of Moravský Peněžní Ústav, which it then submits to the Board of Directors for discussion at the Board's next meeting.
